About
Katrina was born and raised in Australia where she received her Bachelors in Political Science from James Cook University. She went on to get her Masters in International Relations from the Australian National University and her PhD in History from the University of Tasmania.
Katrina worked at the University of Connecticut (go Huskies) and the University of Notre Dame (go Irish) before coming to Loyola (go Ramblers and Sr Jean). She began her higher education career in residential life and moved to academic advising where she has served students in a variety of capacities. Her greatest joy is watching students thrive and flourish in their chosen careers.
Though Katrina loves living in Chicago she misses seeing kangaroos, koalas and kookaburras in her back yard (and, yes, she really did have them living that close to her).
