Jordan was an undergrad at Loyola where he studied French and Classics. After graduation, he moved to France, earned an MA at Université Lumière Lyon II and began work on his PhD. After six years spent teaching in universities around France (and eating excessive amounts of his beloved comté cheese), he is back at Loyola.
In his free time, Jordan likes cycling long distances, making coffee, and listening to some form of punk music. He also loves public transportation and life without air conditioning (it’s loud and cold). His refuge is at the top of a mountain (of which there are plenty in Chicago…wait, never mind). When not at work, you will probably find him in one of the many used book stores in the city! Or dreaming about beluga whales.
