Advising Notes
Important Notes for Mathematics majors from Advising:
- Your ability to graduate with this major in four traditional years may be impacted by your math placement. If you start in MATH 100 or MATH 117, you will either need to take summer courses at Loyola, or you may need to extend your path to graduation beyond four years.
- Check the AP/IB guide to ensure you know if you have any incoming credit that will count towards your Core requirements.
- If you are interested in pursuing a career in teaching, please review the majors offered in the School of Education or reply to your registration email to discuss the best choice for you and your goals.
