How have you benefited from the Gannon Scholars program?

I am constantly furthering my personal definition of "social justice" through Gannon meetings! Each week, I learn more about what it means to be one for others and how to fight for a more just world.

Why is the mission of women's leadership important to you?

In order to further social justice in the world, we must further our individual knowledge. By empowering and teaching women what it takes to fight for others, we work towards a more just world for everyone.

What are you interested in researching?

I am interested in researching how the COVID-19 pandemic will affect the rates of PTSD in healthcare professionals in the Chicago area.
