What are some of your interests outside the Gannon Scholars program?

I am on the executive board for organizations on campus such as Friends of MSF (Doctors Without Borders), HOSA (Future Health Professionals), and SOS (Students Organize for Syria). I am also a Research Assistant in the Movement and Learning Lab at Loyola.

Why is the mission of the Gannon Scholars important to you?

The Gannon Scholars mission is important to me because I have always wanted a community to belong in where I felt like my peers and I all had common interests; this program has introduced me to so many individuals like myself who are dedicated to become leaders and social justice advocates.
