How have you benefited from the Gannon Scholars program?

The Gannon Scholars program has brought me the most amazing support system and community. I could not be more grateful for the people I know now because of the Gannon Scholars. I have grown as a person, as an activist, and an ally throughout my first year as a Gannon Scholar. I have learned how to stand up for myself and when to ask for help. I have learned how to advocate, and I have learned how to support others.

Why is the mission of the Gannon Scholars important to you?

I think that is so important to foster an environment where women and nonbinary people are uplifted and empowered to make the world a better place.
