Maudlyne Ihejirika, an award winning journalist with the Chicago Sun-Times, tells the real-life story of her mother’s childhood in Nigeria, her harrowing global effort to reunite her family, and miracles that led to her escape from the famine and deprivation of the Nigeria-Biafran war with six small children.
