Early Summer Phase and Testing Changes

Dear Students, Faculty, and Staff, 

We are pleased to announce that Loyola University Chicago has moved to the Early Summer phase of our phased reopening plan. Review our updated Return to Campus website for more details and our current plans. 

As of yesterday, vaccinated Loyolans are no longer required to participate in our COVID-19 surveillance testing program. A reminder that your vaccine record must already be uploaded and approved, and you must be fully vaccinated (two weeks past the single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine or the second dose of the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines) to stop testing. 

If you still need to upload your vaccination card in the Loyola Health function of the Loyola mobile app, view detailed upload instructions here. All submitted health records are secure and kept in strict confidence. Once your vaccine card is uploaded and approved, you will be exempt from testing as well. 

Additionally, Loyola’s surveillance testing program has now transitioned from EPIC to Point and Click (PnC), a more sophisticated patient portal. Loyolans who still need to test—those who do not upload their card, have an approved vaccine card but are not yet fully vaccinated, choose not to vaccinate, or have an approved medical or religious exemption—will need to create a new PnC account. 

You can register using the information below. Please do not use Microsoft Edge or Internet Explorer when accessing the portal, as you may encounter an error on those browsers.
