Enroll in Surveillance Testing Before the Holidays

November 16, 2021

Dear Students,

Are you interested in getting periodic COVID-19 tests but haven’t signed up for Loyola University Chicago’s surveillance testing program yet? It’s simple to enroll:

  • First, open the Loyola Health function on the Loyola mobile app and click "SIGN E-CONSENT FORM."
  • Once you’ve consented, you can return to Loyola Health and click the button "REGISTER WITH SHIELD-PNC," which will direct you to Loyola’s patient portal registration page.
  • From there, just plug in the Student Agency Code (yy5790vw-stu) as well as your personal information. Then you're good to go!

While fully vaccinated students at Loyola are not required to participate, we’re strongly encouraging everyone in our community to test for COVID-19, especially if traveling for the upcoming holidays. Periodic testing—like vaccination and masking—is a powerful tool we can use to minimize the spread of this disruptive virus. And our program is absolutely free and easy to use. Results are delivered quickly, too, typically within 24 hours.

After you sign up, be sure to stop by one of our testing sites, which are available on all three Chicagoland campuses. Testing site hours will be adjusted the week of November 22 due to the Thanksgiving holiday:

  • Wednesday: 6 a.m.–5 p.m.
  • Thursday: Closed
  • Friday: Closed
  • Saturday: Closed
  • Sunday: Closed

Regular hours will resume on Monday, November 29. Please note that, beginning that week, all testing sites will only be open Monday–Friday.

You can learn more about our testing program, including information about how to make appointments, at our COVID-19 testing website or by emailing COVID-19testing@LUC.edu.

We wish you all a happy and safe holiday season.
