Move-In Reminders

January 7, 2016

Dear Loyola Health Sciences Community,

As a reminder, the Center for Translational Research and Education (CTRE) occupants will officially start move-in this Monday, January 11. Over the next several months you will see our colleagues cleaning, packing, and moving into the new space.

In order to better answer your questions and make the move as smooth as possible, we have complied a list of Frequently Asked Questions at LUC.edu/ctre/logistics. We will continue to update this site as issues arise. Please check it frequently.

This week we’d like to highlight these updates:

  • CTRE meeting and event space is loaded into the room scheduling system and available to occupants only as they move into the space. Once the move-in process is complete, the space will be available to everyone across campus. Please contact Sue Crowell at scrowell@luc.edu with questions.
  • If you are a building occupant, you should be prepared to move at any time during your assigned window. Your designated move coordinator will have further details on this. Click here to view the packing instructions.
  • LUHS Security will have an active presence in the building. Building occupants will have card swipe access, but will not have that access until their assigned move-in dates. All other Loyola employees and guests will have to check-in at the front desk.
  • Normal building hours will be 6 a.m.–8 p.m. Monday through Friday. Similar to other buildings on campus, occupants will have 24/7 access with their IDs.

This is the most complex building the University has ever built and it’s important that we all work collaboratively to ensure a smooth move process.

Sincerely,

Steve Bergfeld
