Inaugural Address

Jo Ann Rooney, JD, LLM, EdD, was officially installed November 4, 2016, as the 24th president of Loyola University Chicago. About 1,000 people filled the floor of Gentile Arena for Dr. Rooney’s formal inauguration. Among those in the audience: Dr. Rooney’s family, faculty, staff, students, and friends of Loyola—plus delegates from more than 70 universities around the world. Here are Dr. Rooney's remarks.
