Interdisciplinary Honors Program

Advising

As participants in the Interdisciplinary Honors Program, Honors students work closely with Honors Academic Advisors in the Office of First and Second Year Advising during their freshman and sophomore years to create four year plans to bring their academic and co-curricular goals to fruition.  In UNIV 101, a freshman seminar course, Honors students meet with their Honors academic advisors once a week to discuss the requirements of the Honors program, and ways to integrate study abroad and fellowship opportunities into their long term goals.  Upon the conclusion of their second year, Honors students are then advised by their colleges and schools based on their major course of study.
