Instructional Technologies Course

The Instructional Technologies Course (ITC) is designed to help the Loyola community (faculty, staff, and students) explore technology resources that can be used throughout the educational process. Each week participants will learn about keystone learning technologies and best practices. The weekly time commitment is approximately eight hours, including participation in an online synchronous session. At the end of the 4-week period, participants will have created a Sakai template that can be used for a future course. Participants can also earn a letter of completion. This course complements the Design and Facilitate Online Teaching Courses (OTC). For questions, please send an email to ITRS@luc.edu.

Course Objectives:

  1. Analyze the different course structures in Sakai.
  2. Define technology expectations for your online course.
  3. Evaluate appropriate technology tools for your future course site.
  4. Create a project site.
