Piazza

Piazza is a forum-like platform designed to facilitate higher quality collaborative discussion. Piazza is integrated in Sakai, where faculty can manage discussions in a course site by posting prompts, answering questions, endorsing student responses, and editing posted content. Features such as a wiki format, the ability to highlight for immediate reply, and polls promote collaboration.

Update December 2020 - Piazza will be moving to a paid/contribution-supported model starting January 2021. Loyola faculty can continue to use Piazza freely through August 1, 2021 with the contribution-supported model. The Piazza tool will also remain available for use in Sakai course sites.  For more information on these Piazza changes, please visit Paid Model for Piazza Q&A.

Loyola's Academic Technology Committee (ATC) will be meeting on February 1, 2021 to discuss the possibility of acquiring a Piazza institutional license for Fall 2021. Additional informaton and updates will be posted here as they become available.
