Gaming Consoles, TVs, Printers, and other Devices
Registering on the Devices Network
Not all devices support the 802.1X software. Because of this, we have created a separate network for these devices called ‘LUC:TV-Printer-Games-Misc’ wireless network (formerly LUC-devices). This will mainly be used for the registration of gaming systems, but older machines that do not support 802.1X will also be redirected to this network.
To test if your device needs to be on LUC:TV-Printer-Games-Misc, try connecting to the LUC network first. If that fails, try connecting to ‘LUC:TV-Printer-Games-Misc’. If you receive the following message, you may not need to use ‘LUC:TV-Printer-Games-Misc’.
To register with LUC:TV-Printer-Games-Misc, the simplest method is to use another device (i.e. laptop, mobile phone) and input the required information on the LUC:TV-Printer-Games-Misc registration page. You can find the LUC:TV-Printer-Games-Misc registration page here.
Before registration, ensure that your device is connected to the LUC:TV-Printer-Games-Misc network. Then fill in the necessary fields and click register. If you receive the following message, double check that you have input your MAC address properly. If the issue persists, contact the Helpdesk.
If the registration does seem to go through, try disconnecting from the network and restarting your device.
