First Time Setup

1. Launch a browser, and visit https://luc.edu/mfapreferences
2. At the Microsoft sign in page, enter your Loyola email then click Next
3. On the next page, enter your UVID and password to sign in to view the Additional security verification page
4. Select Authentication phone from the first drop-down
5. Select your Country/Region in the second drop-down
6. Enter your mobile phone number in the textbox
7. Under the Method section select Send me a code by text message
8. Click Next
9. On Step 2: We've sent you a text message to your phone, enter the verification code
10. Click Verify
11. Lastly, click Done 

You've successfully signed up for multi-factor authentication.
