Informatics & Clinical Research

The Informatics and Clinical Research (ICR) team is a collection of technical professionals that provides a range of informatics, healthcare analytics and clinical data services in support of healthcare research.  The ICR team works directly with healthcare and basic science researchers to develop research solutions in support of the acquisition and analysis of a wide range of healthcare data including medical imaging and physiological data.  Additionally, the ICR team constructs and manages clinical data warehouses that support internal research needs and also support the resourcing of clinical data research networks funded by the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) and NIH Clinical and Translational Science Awards (CTSA).

The team develops and manages a range of computational resources including traditional high-performance computing clusters (HPCC), GPU-based computing clusters, “big data” platforms and natural language process/medical image pipelines. Custom analytic services of large-scale longitudinal clinical data sets are available.

More information about these resources can be found on the Research Computing Services website.
