Ann Park (JD '13) has been awarded a Fulbright U.S. Student Award to South Korea. Starting in September, 2013, Ann will spend 10 months conducting legal analysis, a comprehensive literature review, and field research mainly at Sogang University School of Law in Seoul. Ann’s goal is to establish recommendations to strengthen children’s legal rights and their legal representation in abuse and neglect cases. The Fulbright Program is the flagship international educational exchange program of the United States. Ann will represent the U.S. as a cultural ambassador overseas, helping to enhance mutual understanding between Americans and the people in South Korea.
