Curriculum

Students learn negotiation, mediation, and arbitration skills in interactive seminars and intensive workshops.  They gain mastery through real world experiences such as advocating for clients at Equal Employment Opportunity Commission mediations, mediating small claims cases in the Circuit Court of Cook County, working as externs, and competing on Loyola’s dispute resolution teams.  Loyola’s broad curriculum offers a variety of courses including restorative justice, international arbitration, collaborative divorce, mediation advocacy, and specialized negotiation courses.  The program includes both J.D. and LLM students.
