Today, Loyola students have access to the most comprehensive child and family program of study available in any law school. In addition to introductory and advanced courses in child abuse, juvenile justice, domestic relations and education law, students can learn about specialty areas such as adoption, immigration and international children rights. They also have an opportunity to develop the skills required of 21st century attorneys for children, including legislative advocacy, trial skills, and dispute resolution techniques.

Loyola also offers law students an array of clinical, extracurricular and internship opportunities, where they gain practical experience and forge important professional relationships that are invaluable as they launch their professional careers.
