Your primary resource for accessing weekly assignments and other important information will be our course Sakai site, which will be available to you on or before August 9.

The required texts for this course are:

If you haven’t already ordered these texts, you should do so soon as possible. PDFs of the Week 1 readings are available on Sakai, but by Week 2 everyone is expected to have their own materials.

To prepare for our first class session, log into the course Sakai site. Carefully read the course syllabus, the Welcome page, and the Week 1 page. These pages describe the work you must complete before attending our first class, which include watching introductory videos from me and your tutors, posting an introductory video about yourself, and completing the Week 1 reading assignments (Long & Baxter pp. 3-9, 11-20; Restatement pp. 10-13; and supplemental readings/videos linked on Sakai).

If you have any questions before our first class, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
