A new book coedited by
Sacha Coupet,
Children, Sexuality, and the Law
(NYU Press,
2015) (with Ellen Marrus), addresses some
of the unique challenges that accompany
children in the broader context of sex. The
book explores the diverse perspectives in
which children emerge in sexually related
dimensions of law and contemporary life.
The Beazley Institute for Health Law and
Policy’s Larry Singer, Megan Bess, and
Kristin Finn (JD ‘11)
have published a new
book,
Careers in Health Law
(American Bar
Association, 2014), which discusses the
development of health law and where to
find jobs in this growing area.
Spencer Waller, director of Loyola’s
Institute for Consumer Antitrust Studies,
coauthored both the fourth edition of
Antitrust and American Business Abroad
(Thomson/West, 2015) (Cambridge
University Press, 2015) and
Brands,
Competition Law and IP
(Cambridge
University Press).
John Bronsteen’s
new book,
Happiness
and the Law
(University of Chicago Press,
2014) (with Buccafusco and Masur) assesses
how the law affects people’s quality
of life. Judge Richard Posner of the US
Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit
cited Bronsteen’s article “Happiness and
Punishment” in his opinion for the court in
United States v. Presley
(June 11, 2015).
