For more than a century, Loyola University Chicago’s part-time evening JD program has provided an opportunity for exceptional students with busy lives to earn an outstanding law degree. Now, we have moved our nationally recognized part-time program to the next level, combining Loyola's online expertise, stellar faculty, and first-rate student experience into a Weekend JD program.

Loyola’s innovative Weekend JD is a mix of campus-based and online learning that serves busy professionals whose work and family circumstances might otherwise preclude them from pursuing a law degree. It offers the same rigorous, high-quality legal education taught by the same faculty as our full-time JD program, with flexible courses that meet on campus seven weekends each semester—just 14 weekends a year. Up to a third of each course is taught through distance learning, allowing reduced in-class time to be used more creatively.

You will also gain valuable hands-on training from our many experiential learning experiences, and have the opportunity to participate in special programming, academic support, and career counseling geared specifically toward weekend students.

Loyola’s Philip H. Corboy Law Center is located just steps from Chicago’s Magnificent Mile in the heart of the city, giving you access to many government agencies, law firms, culture, shopping, and restaurants. You will also benefit from Loyola’s strong alumni network of more than 11,000 JD graduates.

We are extremely proud to offer this exhilarating weekend program in a welcoming learning environment that is diverse, nurturing, and supportive.

We look forward to sharing with you the many details of our Weekend JD program, and to welcoming you to our extraordinary law school.
