The LLM offers qualified JDs the opportunity to develop specialized knowledge and practice skills in the area of tax law.  Students are required to complete 26 credit hours for the degree.  The LLM, however, can be earned on an accelerated basis by any Loyola School of Law graduate holding a Certificate in Taxation by completing 12 hours of post-JD study with a grade point average of 3.0 or better.
