A 1984 graduate of Loyola University Chicago School of Law (cum laude), Ms. Anderson has practiced as a litigator, with extensive trial and appellate court experience, primarily in complex product liability, civil rights, and general tort litigation. She has been responsible for nationwide litigation in the state and federal courts of numerous jurisdictions.
In 2007 Ms. Anderson received the Award for Excellence in Pro Bono Service from the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois and the Federal Bar Association (Chicago Chapter), and in 2009 she was named as a SuperLawyer in the area of civil litigation defense.
Ms. Anderson was employed as an associate at Wildman, Harrold, Allen & Dixon from 1984 to 1986; an associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom from 1986 to 1998; senior corporation counsel at the City of Chicago from 1998 to 2002; and a partner at Wildman, Harrold from 2002 through 2008. Ms. Anderson now practices as a sole practitioner in the areas of tort litigation and civil rights. In addition to her litigation practice, she works as a freelance manuscript editor for the academic presses in the areas of law, history, and the humanities.
