Jo Anne Gazarek Bloom

Jo Anne Gazarek Bloom was, until recently, the Regulatory Strategies Vice President of Unicom/Exelon (the recently-merged parent corporation of ComEd), having previously served as the Associate General Counsel, Regulatory, of ComEd; she co-led the company team that developed and passed the legislation to restructure the Illinois electric industry. She earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Illinois, then she earned her law degree cum laude at Loyola, where she was the Associate Editor of the Law Journal. After graduating, she was an associate at the former Chicago law firm Isham, Lincoln and Beale, then for a decade she served as Counsel, Corporate Strategies, for Ameritech before moving to ComEd.
