About
Michelle Borman has over six years of experience assisting clients with a variety of tax issues. She is currently a Tax Manager in the mergers & acquisitions group at RSM US LLP where she specializes in assisting private equity and strategic buyers and sellers on the tax aspects of mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, and IPOs. In that role, Michelle assists clients with tax due diligence and tax structuring for buy and sell-side transactions.
As a law student, Michelle externed for the Honorable Charles P. Kocoras and with the IRS Appeals division. Michelle was also captain of the Family Law Moot Court team at Loyola University Chicago, School of Law. Michelle and her partner were quarter-finalists in the National Moot Court Competition in Child Welfare & Adoption Law and their brief was fourth best. Michelle also received the CALI award in Legal Writing II and Advocacy, and she served as a legal writing tutor.
