Shannon is the Professional Development Specialist at Chapman and Cutler LLP. She administers new professional development and mentoring programs and facilitates the Firm's internal professional development curriculum, competency and staffing models, and training and development for attorneys and staff. Prior to joining Chapman, Shannon was an Associate Director of Educational Programming for the American Bar Association. She was also an appellate attorney at the Chicago law firm of Schiller DuCanto & Fleck LLP where she drafted appellate briefs and argued before the Illinois Appellate Court. She also served as a law clerk to Michigan Supreme Court Justice Marilyn Kelly (retired) and Illinois Appellate Court Justice P. Scott Neville. During law school, Shannon was the Editor-in-Chief of the Michigan State Law Review.
