Kyle P. De Jong
Title/s: Litigation Counsel, Aon Corporation
Kyle De Jong is Litigation Counsel in Aon Corporation’s law department. Mr. De Jong’s practice includes managing Aon’s litigation matters and counseling internal clients on risk management issues. Before joining Aon Corporation, Mr. De Jong was a Senior Attorney for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. As a Senior Attorney, Mr. De Jong investigated possible violations of the federal securities laws and prosecuted the Commission's civil suits in federal court and administrative proceedings. Prior to working for the Commission, Mr. De Jong was a litigation associate in Winston & Strawn's Chicago office whose practice focused on complex commercial litigation, securities fraud, class actions, and white-collar defense. Mr. De Jong was a member of the trial and appellate teams that represented former Illinois Governor George H. Ryan in a six-month public corruption trial, and argued a successful appeal before the Illinois Appellate Court regarding Governor Ryan's pension. Mr. De Jong received his Bachelors of Arts in Political Science from Calvin College, and his JD, cum laude, from the University of Michigan.
