Ryan Gillespie

About
Ryan Gillespie received his undergraduate degree from DePaul University and his Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. Mr. Gillespie represents school districts, special education cooperatives, municipalities, and private sector employers in employment, civil rights, and tort litigation in federal and state courts, and before federal and state administrative agencies. He also advises clients regarding the employment relationship, compliance with employment laws, and in general school law matters. Mr. Gillespie began his career as an Assistant State’s Attorney in the Civil Actions Bureau of the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, where he defended Cook County agencies and officials in civil rights and tort litigation. Prior to joining ECB&S, Mr. Gillespie worked as litigation counsel for a nationwide property and casualty insurer.
