About

Danny is currently a law clerk on the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.  Before that, he was an Assistant Attorney General in the Criminal Appeals Division of the Illinois Attorney General's Office. There, he briefed and argued criminal and quasi-criminal appeals in the Illinois Supreme Court and Illinois Appellate Court, responded to habeas corpus petitions in federal court, and defended the constitutionality of state statutes in the Illinois circuit courts. He began his career as a commercial litigation associate at Quarles & Brady LLP in Chicago, where he handled all phases of a variety of civil litigation matters and maintained an extensive pro bono practice in immigration, family, and criminal law.
