Prya Murad

Prya Murad is an Assistant Public Defender in West Palm Beach, Florida. She has represented children and adults facing criminal charges from DUIs to robbery and sexual battery in Chicago, West Palm Beach, and San Francisco. She is currently in the process of starting her own law firm, Prya Murad Law, PLLC based in Miami, FL.

In less than six years, Prya has litigated just shy of 60 juvenile and adult non-jury and jury trials in additional to countless motion hearings and sentencings. Additionally, she is committed to media advocacy and has published in several publications notably The Marshall Project and The Mercury Times. Though this honor was derailed by the COVID-19 pandemic, she was selected as her alma mater Transylvania University's 2020 Commencement Speaker.  Prya is committed to trial advocacy and has coached trial teams at Loyola University Chicago School of Law, Golden Gate University School of Law, and Florida International University College of Law. She has also been on Faculty for programs for the National Institute of Trial Advocacy.
