Elizabeth C. Nelson
About
Elizabeth C. Nelson is Of Counsel at Cousino Law, PLLC, where she represents real estate developers, owners, and investors. Prior to joining Cousino Law, Betsy was an Assistant Attorney General in the Office of the Illinois Attorney General's Special Litigation Bureau where she focused on complex False Claims Act litigation. As a law student, Betsy was the Chief Justice of Loyola's Moot Court and Appellate Advocacy Honors Program, as well as a competitor on the school's Jessup moot court team. Since graduating, Betsy has coached the Jessup moot court team and participated on the Young Alumni Events Committee. She has also co-authored two books with Dean Michael Kaufman and Sherelyn Kaufman, "Learning Together: The Law, Politics, Economics, Pedagogy, and Neuroscience of Early Childhood Education" and "The Pre-K Home Companion".
