Maura serves as an Assistant Attorney General in the Civil Appeals Division of the Illinois Attorney General’s Office, where she represents the State, its agencies, and its officials in the Illinois appellate courts and Supreme Court, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Maura previously served as a law clerk to the Honorable Michael T. Mason in the Northern District of Illinois, as well as a law clerk to the Honorable William J. Bauer on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Maura also previously worked as an associate in the commercial litigation department at K&L Gates, handling breach of contract and securities fraud cases, in both state and federal courts.
