Sarah Sallen

Title/s:  Staff Attorney, LAF



Sarah is the Juvenile Expungement Staff Attorney at LAF (Legal Assistance Foundation). She manages the Juvenile Expungement Help Desk in LAF, which helps individuals access their juvenile court records, evaluate their eligibility to expunge these records, and complete the juvenile expungement petitions and other paperwork. 

Sarah began her legal career as a juvenile public defender and guardian ad litem in Detroit with the Michigan Children’s Law Center. While there she also worked on an education advocacy project to assist those involved in Detroit’s Juvenile Court system with educational issues.

During law school, Sarah was a ChildLaw fellow. She was the Editor in Chief of Loyola’s Children’s Legal Rights Journal and president of the Public Interest Law Society. Sarah also participated in Loyola’s legal writing program as a tutor.
