Lauren Schroeder

Title/s:  Staff Attorney, Ascend Justice



Lauren is currently a staff attorney at Ascend Justice, formerly known as the Domestic Violence Legal Clinic, where she represents survivors of domestic violence obtain Orders of Protection. She previously served as the Post-Graduate Clinical Teaching Policy and Legislation Fellow in Loyola’s Civitas ChildLaw Center, where she advocated on a variety of policy and legislative issues impacting underserved and underrepresented children and families, and supervised students in the Legislation and Policy Clinic. Prior to joining Loyola, Lauren clerked for the Honorable Kathleen G. Kennedy in the Chancery Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County. Lauren received her Masters of Public Policy and Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago, where she was a Civitas ChildLaw Fellow. She is also one of the coaches for Loyola’s National Moot Court Competition team.
