About
Professor Stone is Of Counsel to the law firm of Seyfarth Shaw. He was a partner at the Chicago law firm of D'Ancona & Pflaum until it merged with Seyfarth Shaw in 2005. He joined Loyola's clinical faculty in 1999 to organize and direct the school's Business Law Center Clinic. Professor Stone has been an active member of numerous bar and professional organizations and committees including the Chicago Bar Association, where he served as president, and American Bar Association State of Illinois, where he served as membership chair. He is currently a board member of the International Academy of Dispute Resolution which is an international group of attorneys who arbitrate and mediate disputes all over the world. He was recently appointed by the Illinois State Bar Association to a special commission to study the impact of law school debt on the delivery of legal services.
