Heather Bruce Boran is a 2006 graduate of Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where she was Feature Articles Editor of the Loyola Consumer Law Review and academic tutor for Civil Procedure.  Following graduation, Ms. Boran worked for six years as an associate in Sidley Austin LLP’s Labor and Employment group, representing clients in a variety of matters in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Illinois Department of Human Rights, the National Labor Relations Board and the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs.  In addition, Ms. Boran devoted a significant portion of her practice to non-litigation matters, including drafting executive and other employment agreements, consulting, retention and severance agreements, non-competition and confidentiality agreements, and employment policies and procedures.  Ms. Boran also has considerable experience counseling clients on the myriad of personnel issues that arise at various stages of the employment relationship.
