Seeds that spread—and blossom

Civitas ChildLaw Center alums lead the way in advocacy

Loyola University Chicago’s internationally recognized Civitas ChildLaw Center is celebrating 25 years of excellence. Diane Geraghty, the A. Kathleen Beazley Chair in Children’s Law and director of the center since its inception, says she and her colleagues have “a dandelion theory: we bring people interested in child and family law to Loyola, give them the training they need to provide high-quality representation, and send them out like dandelion seeds into the world.” Meet some of the more than 200 “dandelion seed” alumni who are leaders in advocacy for children and families.
