Elissa Johnson (JD ’10)

After graduation, Johnson worked in Mississippi to reduce mass incarceration and challenge unconstitutional conditions in juvenile detention and prisons through impact litigation and policy advocacy. She currently uses these same strategies in her work to combat abusive conditions that exist throughout the immigrant detention system.
