Why did you decide to enroll in Loyola’s Compliance and Enterprise Risk Management MJ program?
While I was really impressed with the prospect of a graduate level business law program with a focus on compliance, it was the program’s flexibility that helped me transition from merely considering this opportunity to pursuing a degree.
What do you like best about the program?
The quality of the program has been truly exceptional. From the curriculum to the faculty expertise, every course I’ve taken has been relevant and helpful to my work as a compliance and ethics professional. I also appreciate the diversity of the students and faculty at Loyola. Everyone’s experiences and perspectives have greatly enhanced the program and my academic experience.
What do you plan to do with your degree?
I hope to continue to grow in my compliance and ethics acumen and one day serve as a chief compliance officer. I am passionate about advancing ethics across the industry to benefit consumers, shareholders, and employees.
What advice can you give prospective students interested in applying to Loyola’s Master of Jurisprudence program?
Don’t put it off. I was unsure of how I would balance a degree program with work, family, and other obligations. I found that I can absolutely do it. It’s not easy, but you will find that Loyola really supports you throughout the program.
