Loyola Law School Democrats
Mission: The Law School Democrats is a political organization for liberal and moderate law students interested in learning about electoral politics. Our priorities for the 2022 midterm election are as follows:
(1) Electing Democrats up and down the ballot who share our values, such as racial equality and protecting the environment;
(2) Reelecting Representatives Sean Casten, Bill Foster, and Lauren Underwood, who are running in competitive districts, to the US House of Representatives;
(3) Encouraging voters to vote "Yes" on the proposed Workers Rights Amendment to the Illinois Constitution; and
(4) expanding the left-leaning majority on the Illinois Supreme Court.
We hope to achieve these goals through organizing and voter outreach efforts commonly known as "Getting Out The Vote," or GOTV, in the run up to Election Day on November 8th.
