Andy Kettlewell

Group Vice President, Inventory and Analytics, Walgreens

Andy Kettlewell serves as group vice president, inventory and analytics for Walgreens, leading the end-to-end supply chain planning, coordination and execution for Walgreens 9,200 stores and Walgreens.com. He is responsible for front of store inventory and master data management (forecasting, procurement, planning, and inventory flow) for 200 million item store combinations supporting >$35 billion in annual sales at Walgreens.

During his tenure at Walgreens, Andy has led over $1 billion in working capital improvement, while improving store in stock conditions by 80 percent and improving end-to-end supply chain efficiency through the creation, adoption and application of advanced analytics, strategic partnerships and talent development.

He has extensive experience with large scale transformational integration, leading the inventory management and supply chain integration of numerous retail acquisitions (Rite Aid, Duane Reade, USA Drug and Happy Harrys) and omni-channel acquisitions (Beauty.com, Skinstore.com and Drugstore.com) into the Walgreens network.

Andy earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and Spanish from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and a master of business administration degree in supply chain management from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

Andy is a proud husband and father of two amazing kids and is a backyard beekeeper, an aspirational triathlete, a board game aficionado and an occasional mountain climber who loves to explore the world with his family.
