John McCarville

Senior VP, Global Supply Chain and IT, Griffith Foods Worldwide

John McCarville is formerly Senior Vice President, Global Supply Chain & IT for Griffith Foods Worldwide, a food developer and processor headquartered in Alsip, Illinois with operations in over 20 separate countries.  His past duties include providing strategic direction, planning, and execution of the Global Supply Chain, including Food Safety & Quality Systems, Global Purchasing, Engineering, Information Technology, Employee Safety, and Environment (Sustainability) reporting to the CEO. 

John's cross-functional experience includes senior management positions in Corporate Financial and Strategic Planning, Information Technology, and Supply Chain on a global level over a 36+ year career.  John now provides consulting via Patina Solutions to companies to achieve significant phases of continuous improvement. 

John's accomplishments include completion of the Baldrige Executive Fellows Program (2012), recognized as a Top 100 IT organization by CIO magazine (2004), and Griffith’s Global Champion award (2007, 2011).  John has also served on Aberdeen’s Supply Chain Research Advisory Council (2008-2009) and DePaul University’s Advisory Council to the Supply Chain Master’s program (2017-2020).  John has been invited to speak in the past on topics of Supply Chain Excellence and Sustainability.  He is a former member of PMI (since 2006), and the Institute of Industrial Engineering since 1984 (former University Chapter President).  John has an MBA (finance concentration) from DePaul University and is an industrial engineering graduate of Iowa State University.
