Greg Bush

CEO, McCarthy-Bush Corp.

Greg Bush attended the USAF Academy, where he played varsity football and was Captain of the wrestling team.  He graduated in 1978 with a B.S. in Management and he completed his MBA from Golden Gate University in 1985.

From 1978 to 1985, he was an A-10 pilot for the USAF.  He joined Linwood Mining and Minerals Corp., a division of McCarthy-Bush Corp., Davenport, Iowa in 1985.  He served as President of Linwood from 1990 – 1997.  In 1997, Greg was promoted to President of McCarthy-Bush Corp.-the holding company for a $210 million revenue, 111 year old family business.  In 2000, he was given the title of CEO.  He is the fourth generation to run the company.

Greg has been active in many civic and trade organizations throughout his career, serving on many boards, and as President of the Iowa Limestone Producers Association, President of the National Lime Association and Chairman of the Board of the National Stone, Sand, & Gravel Association.  He is currently Treasurer of Genesis Health System and on the Wells Fargo Community Board.
