No other program out there offers this level of comprehensive family business education. Thought leaders, subject matter experts, and live case studies, along with confidential peer-to-peer learning, are all here to help you develop a set of tools and resources to foster responsible and effective stewardship. Take what you learn and help steer your family business to an even brighter future.

The goal of the program is to provide you with a comprehensive look at six key areas of family business: relationships, governance, leadership, finance, strategy, and transitions. While in class, you will look closely at how each of these areas plays a vital role in healthy and successful family businesses. Outside of class, you’re encouraged to take what you’ve learned back to your family business, see what impact it has, and report back to your peers on your challenges and successes.

Each class is a melting pot of family business CEOs, shareholders, family council members, non-family business employees, and managers. This trusted and confidential group will support you on your journey and help you understand how to develop a family strategy for responsible ownership. Many FBSI participants maintain a connection to their fellow peers beyond graduation.

“FBSI has the ability to be transformative for participants. I personally felt the program strengthened my ability to help my family – and the structures already in place – grow and prepare for a healthy future together.”
