Arts LLC

The Arts in Society Living-Learning Community (ALLC) will provide a space for students to explore an academic and co-curricular interest in the creative arts, broadly defined – including Theater, Visual Arts, Music, and Dance. In addition, in the Jesuit educational tradition, there will be an emphasis on social justice and using the arts to create a more just society.
At the end of one year in the Arts Living-Learning Community, students will be able to:
1. Understand the role and value of visual and performing arts in the culture at large
2. Demonstrate an understanding of human creativity and the role of the visual and performing arts as a mode of creative communication in a global context
3. Be able to observe, discern and reflect the arts as a vehicle for social change
