SkyART's i am because you are

i am because you are is a selection of recent projects by SkyART students. Taking inspiration from artists Della Wells and Tonika Lewis Johnson, this work explores issues of identity, community, and personal history using mixed media collage and photography. Also on view is a collaborative painting made during SkyART’s inaugural fall 2017 session of “SkyWAY Studio”, an interdisciplinary program that emphasizes community, collaboration, and caring.
