Frederich Mahieu received his BS and Master's Degree in Pure Mathematics from the University of Picardie Jules Verne (Amiens, France), an MS in Didactic of Mathematics from the University of Paris, and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

He taught 8 years in France in Middle, Vocational, and High Schools, as well as 9 years at a private school in Chicago for all levels 6 to 12. He was in charge of all applications to Engineer Schools in Europe and Canada. In 2018-2019 he was an interviewer for the Ecole Polytechnique (Paris, France). As for adult education, he has led many workshops for teachers and was hired as an external consultant in Education by a global pharmaceuticals company in 2018, tasked with implementing new learning programs. Mr. Mahieu is also a recipient of the "Outstanding Educator Award" by the University of Chicago (2011).

Mr. Mahieu has been invited numerous times as Lead Speaker to reginal and national conferences to discuss his many projects. In 2010, he created a digital newspaper to popularize mathematics, published 14 issues with more than 200 redactors for 6 countries, and is currently working on the creation of the Math Cultural Center planned to open in Chicago in 2024.

Mr. Mahieu's interests include connecting different facets of mathematics to popular culture.
