Mark Pashan received his BS in Engineering from Iowa State University, MS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford, MBA from the University of Chicago and MEd from Loyola University Chicago. Mark began his career as an engineer specializing in computer architecture and computer networking. He rose to become an Executive at Lucent Technologies, Tellabs and Coriant leading business units in each of these corporations. Mark holds 8 patents. Throughout his engineering career he has tutored students in Algebra, Calculus and Differential Equations. While living overseas, Mark was a member of the board of directors of the Franconia International School in Erlangen, Germany. He has an Illinois teaching license in secondary mathematics.
